Mrs. Zuccarini
Kindergarten

Welcome to Mrs. Zuccarini's Website!
I am looking forward to a new and exciting school year. Thank you for a wonderful turn out at Orientation. I know it was a lot of information in a short amount of time. At Back to School Night, we'll review the schedule and curriculum. My goal is to create a safe and fun environment where your child can learn at his/her full potential.
The first month of school will be a time when the children will build friendships and become familiar with classroom routines and rules.
Your child will need these items on a daily basis: 1 large back pack,1 folder, lunch or lunch money, and 1 small snack.
Please remember to label all your child's jackets, back packs,sweaters....
All notes, letters, returned work, lunch money... should be placed in his/her folder.
Please empty your child's folder each day and review the work daily.
Our specials are as follows:
Day 1 Library
Day 2 Art
Day 3 Physical Education
Day 4 Music
Day 5 Show and Tell
We will begin our Family Times homework the first full week of school. Please review all activities in the newspaper. You will need to write your initials after each day, after you and your child have completed the activity. Day 2 always requires your child to read a book, that will come home on the second day. When completed, please send back to school. The Family Times page will be sent home every 5th school day unless we have a day off or a reading Unit Test.
We have children with the following food allergies this year: eggs, milk, tree nuts, and peanuts. Therefore, no snacks with these ingredients should be sent to school. If you wish to provide a special snack for your child's birthday please try to call the cafeteria to make arrangements. If you choose to send in a snack for the class yourself, then please only send in foods without these ingredients. A list will come home with suggestions. Thank you for your cooperation in this most important health safety matter.
Please remember to check and empty your child's book bag every day. This will let you know what we have accomplished that day. But, more importantly, it will show your child how important they are.
Communication is so important in Kindergarten. The best way to contact me is by e mail. Please bookmark this site as a favorite, and visit often. You may also call the school or send in a note. You may dial my extension. 629-9500 ext 139 and leave a message.
Our class motto is " I Can Do It!" If they are encouraged to succeed, they will!
