January will be a very busy month. We will be jumping right back into working hard! We will focus our themes on the New Year, Winter, and Martin Luther King, Jr. |

In Math, our first graders will learn many new subtraction strategies throughout the month. Please continue to practice with your students at home! Also, please continue to read with your students for at least 15 minutes each night! |
In Kindergarten, the students will begin Numbers to 20. In Reading, the students will continue blending letters Aa, Nn, Dd, Ss, Mm, Ii, Tt, Cc, Oo, and Ff. Please continue identifying and making the sounds of letters with your students at home. |
Please continue to check and sign your child's agenda book and take-home folder each night for important notes home from school. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at any time through email, phone, or the agenda books! I look forward to all that January has to bring!! |
