HAPPY NEW YEAR! Thank you to everyone who helped out during the Holiday Shopping Spree. Also, thanks for the treats and drinks for our Christmas Party. The pizza Party was enjoyed by all!
The letters:M,m,S,s,R,r,T,t, P,p,C,c, A,a, D,d , I,i G,g and F,f. We are blending sounds to make words. Please discuss the Home Connection pages that are coming home. These activities are great to reinforce the skills taught in class. The high frequency words should be reviewed on a daily basis. They are: I, a, my, the, go, to, like, he, come, this and here.
In math, we will be working on recognizing and forming numbers to 20. Please practice counting sets to 20.
In handwriting, I'm reviewing basic strokes, forming name properly, and writing the current letters and numbers in lines.
We will continue to go to the computer lab this month.
Please remember to empty your child's folder each day. Also, review the skills and concepts being taught in class.
Book in a Bag Program will start in December. Having your child read to you will be a rewarding experience for both of you. These book titles can be included for the monthly Book It forms.
Reminders: Milk money due on Thursdays.
