Welcome to December in the Resource Center!
First Grade students will be moving into Book 3 before Winter Vacation. They are reviewing short vowel sounds and blends and are preparing for the Book 2, Unit Assessment Test.
Second Grade reading students will be in Book One, Unit 3 before the Winter break and are reviewing for the Unit Two, Assessment Test in early December.
Second Grade Math students will soon be completing two-digit addition / subtraction problems with / without regrouping.
All students will be working on holiday and winter themes through writing activities, coloring contests and games to complete our last month of 2008!
A half day session will be held on Dec. 23rd, and school will be closed from Dec. 24th-Jan. 4th. School will reopen on Monday, Jan. 5th.
