February is here It will be a short, but busy month for us! We will be busy doing many activities that involve Groundhog Day, Presidents' Day, Valentine's Day, Dental Health, Black History and. of course, the 100th Day of School!
February 13th will be our 100th day celebration. The children will be switching classes that day, completing a variety of activities with all different teachers.
On February 14th, we will be exchanging valentine cards with each other. A list will be sent home shortly with each child's name on it so everyone can get started writing out their valentines.
We are now in our third text of the Reading series. Please continue to study high frequency words and spelling words with your child since everything is becoming more difficult. Also, please remember we now have two dictation sentences on our weekly Spelling tests.
