	**2nd Grade "Music in Our Schools" Month Performances - March 15th & 16th**

All of the students have an opportunity to receive an award for their hard work, extra effort and good behavior. In First grade there are three "Bravo Board Award" winners each week. In Second grade there is one "Star of the Week" chosen at the end of class. Encourage your children to work for these and congratulate them when they bring the awards home.

During the Month of March, the First Grade Students will be reviewing the American Folk Songs they've learned and will be creating new versions by writing their own LYRICS. The Second Grade Students are preparing for their performances for MUSIC IN OUR SCHOOLS MONTH.
