Welcome to Room 6- Mrs. Canonica's Second Grade Class

Our Book in a Bag Program is going well! Please be sure your child reads the book to you, and you complete the form that is in the bag each week!

Please work on practicing addition and subtraction facts to 20 at home as well! We need to memorize them by the end of the year!! We have also begun adding and subtracting 3 digit #s with regrouping!

Our Reading Buddy Program is in full swing! Be sure your child brings in books they are able to read fluently to a buddy in Mrs. Zuccarini's class on each Day One!

We had another class Spelling Bee on the 31st of January! The words were all winter related! Lea and Andrew were our winners!! Lily was Second Place! Congratulations!! A February Spelling Bee is in the works!

Congratulations to Jason,our January Student of the month!
