READING We will be working on the following skills: comprehension, fact and opinion, character, theme, and summarizing.

GRAMMAR We will be working on using capitalization and commas.

SPELLING We will be working on spelling words with suffixes.

SOCIAL STUDIES We will be studying about the people and events that shaped the Southeast.

SCIENCE We will be finishing up on electricity and magnetism.

HEALTH We will be studying about drugs and disease prevention.

Continue to read and study the math facts during the summer.

Thank you for all your help this year. I hope your child had a great year in fourth grade. Good luck to everyone in fifth grade in September at Reutter School.
