	Summer vacation is coming up fast, but we still have material to cover as we complete fifth grade. Please remind your children that school is not over till it is over! We have had a great year and I look forward to running into the children again next year in sixth grade. It is always nice to see how they have grown over the summer! Please be sure to check assignment books and backpacks for homework assignments, assessment dates/grades (if 72 or below), notices and papers that need to be completed and returned for myself, the office, the cafeteria, and/or the nurse on a daily basis.
	** Please remember to check your child's assignment book daily as I will post any grade below a 73 there. It is the student's responsibility to bring their assignment book and all papers home for you to review.
	Please note that www.studyisland.com is an internet site that your child can access from home to help study and prepare for the state tests in the spring. They can use the same name and password they use at school to access the program from home, too!
