February went by quickly especially with all the days off due to the amount of snow. Hopefully the snow is all gone, and the weather gets warmer. Please continue to encourage your children to do their best to attain their goals. Have a great month!

Upcoming Lessons

Reading: Students will be working in Unit 4. Each week, we will complete one story and all of the vocabulary and skills that go with each. We will have a Reading and Spelling test for each story.
Writing: The students will be learning the 4-square writing method in an effort to become proficient in this area.
Science: Students will explore how heat affects matter. They will discover how matter changes state, how solutions are formed, how chemical reactions are described, and the properties of acids and bases.
Social Studies: Students will explore the United States as a new nation convening a Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia and adopting the U.S. Constitution. They will also explore political parties being born and the westward expansion.
