FOURTH GRADE LANGUAGE ARTS
The fourth grade Language Arts students have completed Unit One of the McGraw Hill Reading series and have begun working on Unit 2. Students will continue developing four square writing strategies and will begin to respond to picture prompts.
SIXTH GRADE LANGUAGE ARTSThis month, the sixth grade Language Arts students are working in Unit 2 of the McGraw Hill Reading series. The second story in this unit is "Number the Stars". We will use the Chapter Book for this selection and complete the activities that go with this literature unit. I'm sure the students are going to enjoy this "novel" experience.
SIXTH GRADE MATH STUDENTSThe sixth grade math students continue working in the Connected Math Program. The students have completed the "Data About Us" text, and have now begun "Bits and Pieces" in which they will explore fractions.
