Dear Township of Franklin School District Families,

I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer and finding time to relax and recharge. As we prepare to welcome students and staff back for another exciting school year, I want to share an important update regarding our daily school schedule.

For the 2026–2027 school year, school start and end times have been adjusted slightly across the district. These changes were made after careful consideration and are intended to improve the overall efficiency of our transportation system and daily operations while continuing to provide a safe and positive experience for our students.

While the adjustments are minimal, we understand that any change to a family's daily routine requires planning. Over the coming weeks, each school principal will provide detailed information regarding arrival procedures, dismissal procedures, and any school-specific expectations.  Please look for those communications later in August.  Also, in late August you will receive access to the parent portal, which will provide you with your child’s bus pass information.  

I am excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and achievement across the Township of Franklin School District. Thank you for your continued support of our schools, and I look forward to seeing our students and staff back in our buildings soon.
